FloraHolland organizes a study trip to Denmark and Sweden

Would you like to learn about the possibilities offered by Denmark and Sweden for the horticultural sector? Royal FloraHolland invites you to come along on the study trip to Copenhagen and Malmö on 21 and 22 March 2017.

The trip is intended for growers and buyers who are interested in finding new markets or expanding their Scandinavian market share.

During this trip we shall visit various sales channels such as florists, supermarket chains, garden centres, DIY stores, wholesaler

Together with market specialist Josephine Klapwijk from Royal FloraHolland, you will visit various sales channels as part of a small group during these two days, to see for yourself how the chain works there. By talking to florists, wholesalers and staff of garden centres, you get a good idea of the developments occurring in the Scandinavian market.

The Scandinavian countries are among the richest, prosperous and most highly developed countries in the world. That makes them interesting for the marketing of flowers and plants. It is definitely time to organize a study trip to Scandinavia. Are you coming along?

In Scandinavia there is a strong link between the seasons and particular flowers. Flowers symbolise a certain season or holiday in Sweden, like roses, gerberas and callas for Midsummer’s Day. Plants form an essential part of life and a home’s interior and are associated with domesticity, cosiness and increasingly often with health.
