Fleuramour cancelled due to corona

Fleuramour, which would take place from 25 to 28 September in Bilzen, Belgium, has been moved to 2021 due to the corona virus. According to the organization, the cancellation will entail enormous costs.

This year the international event Fleuramour would take place for the 25th time. However, the anniversary edition is canceled due to corona. “The health, safety and well-being of our visitors, exhibitors and everyone involved in the organization are paramount”, organizer Rekad states in a press release.

    Drop out

After the Netherlands, Russia, Belgium and Italy, it was the turn of Romania and the team of Nicu Bocancea to transform the inner courtyard of the castle. The church was to be “taken care of” by Dmitry Turcan from Azerbaijan. Stylists such as Tomas De Bruyne, Tom De Houwer and Angelica Lacarbonara had also confirmed their participation in Fleuramour. A total of 200 floral designers from 20 countries were expected.

Due to the uncertain developments regarding the corona virus, the organization fears that they will drop out. Therefore she can’t guarantee that the event would reach the same level as the previous editions.

“The cancellation will entail huge costs, but we will do everything we can to make it an unforgettable event in 2021.” The theme “Magic” will be maintained in 2021. Fleuramour takes place annually at the Castle Alden Biesen in Belgium. The event attracts more than 15,000 visitors in four days.
