Americans launch new brand flowering roses and shrubs

Star Roses and Plants, part of Ball Horticultural, introduces a new brand of flowering roses and shrubs.

The brand is called Bloomables and consists of more than 35 different rose and shrub varieties. They are selected by Star Roses and Plants because ’they look great, are easy to grow and allow consumers to have a garden that blooms all season’.

The roses include varieties bred in France by Meilland, like Leonardo da Vinci. The branded shrub range includes Buddleja, Clematis, Hydrangea and Spiraea.

The first Bloomables will be for sale in North America, at selected garden retailers in the spring of 2020. More brands from Star Roses and Plants are sold in North American garden centres and big box stores: Knock Out Roses, Drift Roses, Sunblaze Roses and Bushel and Berry (in European retail sold as BrazelBerry).

In North America it’s all about branding plants. Click here to read an article previously published in our digital magazine.
