Horticultural workers Bavaria obliged to be tested

Agriculture and horticultural workers in the German state of Bavaria are all obliged to be tested for the corona virus. The prime minister of the state (Markus Söder) has said this after a sharp revival of the virus on, among other things, a vegetable farm and a farm.

Nearly 100 kilometers northeast of Munich, the coronavirus has infected workers at a nursery and a farm in Mamming. Most of the 174 infections have been diagnosed by Romanian seasonal workers. The farm has been partially quarantined. Söder warned at a press conference that the coronavirus should not be treated lightly. He therefore quickly wants all seasonal workers in the region to test for corona.

    Second wave

The Prime Minister is concerned that local cases of contamination in Germany are slowly merging into a second wave. At the end of March, all garden centers and hardware stores closed in Germany, but were reopened on April 27 after the lockdown.
