Let nature take its course

    ‘The new way of growing’ used to be the buzz phrase in the Netherlands for years, mainly referring to a different way of regulating the climate. For me, in Kenya, ‘the new way of growing’ consists of resilient cultivation, because there is not much to regulate about the climate here. Keeping your crop healthy and strong launches a positive cycle of stronger crops, fewer diseases and plagues, fewer corrections needed, in turn leading to healthier crops, and so on. After all, we all know that a healthy crop is a productive crop! (..)
