The kids worked with the Lily flower and Dini Holtrop explained everything about this cut flower. In the workshop with pot plants the children could work with the Echeveria or a mini-Phalaenopsis. The objective of the workshop is to bring children closer to the world of flowers and plants.  The workshop is an activity within the grandparent’s day campaign of the Felinifoundation.

The buying behaviour of flowers and plants in Italy is changing rapidly. The consumption of cut flowers in the traditional segment is under pressure. Bringing fresh flowers to the cemetery weekly is a tradition that gradually disappears. There is a big competition in the gift market and young people have a lot of possibilities to choose from. Buying flowers for young people is not a first choice.

The flowers, plants and materials were sponsored by;  Chrysal, Amigoplant, SOnatural, Opiflor, Yourlily, Van der Plas Flowers & Plant, HE-AS.
