Dutch Garden in Lazienki Parc, Warsaw Poland

The Dutch ambassy made a YouTube movie of all seasons of the Dutch garden in the Lazienki Parc in Warsaw Poland.

The idea of the Dutch Flower Garden came from King Willem Alexander and Queen Maxima of het Netherlands during a official visit and their visit to the Royal Lazienki Museum in 2014.

This design was developed by landscape architect Niek Roozen. In his work he considered historical elements and garden establishments that are typical of 18th century gardens, proposing the same time a wide selection of plants in order to add more contemporary features to the garden.

As a result today we can contemplate almost 40,000 bulbous plants, rose shrubs in various colours 218 pieces, tall rhododendrons, azaleas, hydrangeas, ornamental grasses and other perennials coming from Dutch and Polish nurseries.
