‘The emphasis is on the visitors’ experience’

A retail fair that offers solutions and inspiration for filling plant and flower shelves, with roughly eighty visitors, who, together, turn over 3 billion euros. This, in a nutshell, is the dot that Pascal Koelman and Rudi Tuinman of 2Dezign are putting on the horizon with Secret Garden, an ambition they are seeking to realise in three years’ time.

In November, Secret Garden – The Flower Bazar 3.0 – will see its first edition in the ECA centre at the Aalsmeer Auction, near the Royal FloraHolland Trade Fair.

2Dezign already organised The Flower Bazar in Floriworld twice last year, in September and November. The latter event took place during the Trade Fair, to which the Flower Bazar was unconnected. Koeleman and Tuinman sought and found a partner for Secret Garden in Royal FloraHolland. Bloemenbureau Holland was also supposed to participate, but dropped out last week. Its Chair, Marco van der Sar, would not elaborate any further on this. (..)
