Rabobank: Dutch share in global cutflower export wil drop

    Rabobank’s latest World Floriculture Map shows that global exports of ornamental plant products have shown annual growth in recent years, mainly due to higher consumption in the United States. The Map also reveals that the Dutch share (46%) in global cut-flower trade has remained fairly stable, contrary to the bank’s expectations. This seems to be a matter of time though: “We expect the Dutch share in flower exports to drop to around 40% by 2025,” says Lambert van Horen of Rabobank.(..)
