Six buildings at the Royal FloraHolland sites in Aalsmeer, Naaldwijk and Rijnsburg have been sold to US-based Hines. “The fact that a very large investor is interested in our locations reflects the level of third-party trust in the strength of the floriculture sector,” the auction responded.
Rumours of investment company and property developer Hines owning Royal FloraHolland’s property have been recurring regularly for years, particularly concerning the Naaldwijk location, but also in connection with Aalsmeer. Every time, the auction has reaffirmed that it is still the proprietor of its own auction sites. (..)
