Broekhof opens Miami branch

    Broekhof, he supplier of flower and plant packaging opened a branch in the United States on the 1st of January. In the city of Miami, the main transit port for flowers for the rest of the US.

    The new office and warehouse is located between the bouquet makers, Broekhof provides their clients with all of their packaging requirements.

    Director Arjan Broekhof sees massive opportunities for growth: “Miami is just like Aalsmeer is to Europe, it’s home to all of the major players in the flower and plant trade that supply the whole of the United States. It is an enormous country and is full of opportunities; ’the sky is the limit’. We supply our complete range of unique, packaging and decorative materials that are entirely new to the American market. Naturally we will be developing customised packaging ranges, specifically for retail”.

    Collaboration

    In September Broekhof opened a new branch in Columbia, at the heart of South American floriculture. The two newest Broekhof branches will work in close collaboration, supplying one another and their customers. It starts with the products that Broekhof is most famous for, flower sleeves, plastic buckets, bouquet holders and picks.
