Director Arjan Broekhof sees massive opportunities for growth: “Miami is just like Aalsmeer is to Europe, it’s home to all of the major players in the flower and plant trade that supply the whole of the United States. It is an enormous country and is full of opportunities; ‘the sky is the limit’. We supply our complete range of unique, packaging and decorative materials that are entirely new to the American market. Naturally we will be developing customised packaging ranges, specifically for retail”.
In September Broekhof opened a new branch in Columbia, at the heart of South American floriculture. The two newest Broekhof branches will work in close collaboration, supplying one another and their customers. It starts with the products that Broekhof is most famous for, flower sleeves, plastic buckets, bouquet holders and picks.
